Yeah I’m definitely claiming the ground of trivial experience because i find it more empirically real. I deny that there is “something about what matters in life that’s more robust” and suggest you try to confirm the existence of such a something in the moments of people’s real lives.

I find that what people think they value and what motivates them in specific moments are usually unrelated. I suppose you see this as a mistake we can improve on though?
