I like this a lot. But the core assumption is that regular nightclubs are safer. Is that true? The numbers for fires seem to say no. Then there are shootings and other attacks. Then, if you want to think more deeply, there are smaller tragedies like date rapes and fist fights. Do you feel safer in a nightclub than at an underground event where you know half the people?

I think lots of reactionary political action recently assumes that permitted events are safer. I am doubting this.
